We like riding, but we also like giving back to our community.
The Charlotte Highway Kings are not just a motorcycle club, we are also a 501 C 3 organization. Proceeds from the events we sponsor have gone to the charities listed below. While they are not the only ones we donate too, they are a sampling of what we have done.
Police Activities League
Charlotte
This Charity organization offers the necessary support to enhance the lives of youth and young adults that reside within low-income, underserved Charlotte-Mecklenburg communities. It has proposed to offer adult and youth peer mentoring, structured after-school educational and computer enrichment, structured summer camp programs, substance abuse prevention and education counseling, self-improvement skills, decision-making guidance and team concept awareness.
Spina Bifida Association
Spina Bifida literally means “split spine.” Spina Bifida happens when a baby is in the womb and the spinal column does not close all of the way. Every day, about eight babies born in the United States have Spina Bifida or a similar birth defect of the brain and spine.
Alzheimer's Association
The Alzheimer’s Association works on a global, national and local level to enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. We are here to help.
Cops 4 The Cure
Cops 4 the Cure will provide a tailored response and support to individuals dealing with cancer themselves or those providing care to someone close to them. We are in the very beginning stages of our organization. We are organizing committees to help deal with the needs of those we will be assisting.
